Hope Cov Youth

We're here to help youth discover their identity, find community, and live purposefully.

UNITE FAQ

The Hope Covenant Youth are headed to UNITE East on July 14th for a week of fun, connection, and growing closer to God. Send an email to Hunter Melton if your question is not answered.

  • You can find a packing list by clicking HERE. Students should also bring modest swimwear and athletic clothes for the pool and rec center. Students should also bring additional cash for lunch and dinner on the road trip to and from UNITE (a total of four additional meals), as well as for any additional merchandise they may wish to buy from the event. Due to our cellphone policy, students should bring a physical Bible with them on this trip.

  • Please fill out the form HERE with any medications that your student takes. Please place the medication in a bag, labeled with the student's name. Hunter will hold onto the medication and will remind students when they need to take it.

  • Students are allowed to bring their phones but will not be allowed to use them during main sessions unless otherwise directed. For this reason, students should bring a physical bible from home. Students are encouraged at all other times to be available and present to their community to make the most out of this experience. If necessary, Hunter will hold onto phones for times when students should not be using them.

  • You can call or text Hunter Melton at (320)-491-7255 if you need to reach us for anything.

  • Each day students will start with breakfast and a morning session. Afterward, we will come together for some small group devotional and community time until lunch. Then in the afternoon, we will have large group games, time for students to enjoy the pool, student center, or rec center, seminars, workshops, tournaments, and more! Then we will have dinner, our evening session, and some more time for our group to connect all together before light’s out at 11.

  • Students will be staying in the dorms of Bowling Green State University where each area will have a Residential Director making sure everything goes smoothly. Students should bring their own bedding for a single (twin) bed (sheets or sleeping bags are great!)

  • Cash or check are preferred (there is not a processing fee this way) but you can pay using Hope Covenant’s Giving page. Select “Give to UNITE” to make sure your payment arrives at the right spot, and then select “cover processing fees” on the second page.

  • If you haven’t already, CIY requires an EMRF form which you can find by clicking HERE. If you haven’t completed the Hope Covenant’s Health and Liability Form, or if you need to update any information, click HERE.
