Gift Card collection for
AnnaMarie's Alliance
This Christmas, we are partnering with AnnaMarie's Alliance to provide gift cards to mothers in need. Often, people of low income do not have choices on what they give their kids, especially those escaping from a domestic violence situation where most, if not all choices have been taken from them. Providing gift cards helps to empower mothers at Anna Marie’s to make choices and shop for what their kids are REALLY hoping for.
There will be a tree display in the Welcome Center, where you can choose an envelope to fill with a gift card from a suggested retailer. Envelopes will be labeled in $20 and $50 amounts. Within the envelope is a list of retailers which include: Target, Walmart, Amazon, Coborns/ Cashwise.Please return filled envelopes by December 17th so we can take them to AnnaMarie's Alliance.

We will kick off the festivities with special Christmas beverages and treats. You'll want to be sure to get your family photo taken by our professional photographer- FREE of charge. Additionally, we'll have some casual trivia on display as well as crafts for kids! It's going to be a great evening to celebrate the birth of our Savior!

HCK SUNDAY BLAST
Sundays, 9am

Kids ages birth through 5th grade are invited to join us for our Sunday Morning BLASTS!!!
Epic fun and hands-on learning and discipleship for kids of all ages. Every Sunday from 9:00-9:45 am. You won't want to miss it!
- Mini Blast: Ages birth-Preschool (meets in the nursery)
- Elementary School Blast: Grades K-5th (meets in room 207)
All children and youth should stop by the HCK/HCY check-in desk to get a name tag before proceeding to class on Sunday mornings.

HCY SUNDAY BLAST AND FORMATION HOUR
Sundays, 9am
September- May
Students will engage in the weekly bible story in fun, age-appropriate, and engaging ways!
Sunday Morning Blast!! (6th-8th graders): Middle School students will enjoy a blast of hands-on, active fun ending with a middle school only small group discussion time! Meets in Youth Room: 105.
Coffee House (9th-12th graders): High School students will gather around coffee or hot cocoa have discipleship small-group experiences and discussions. Meets in Room 106.
All students need to check-in at the HCK/HCY check-in desk in the Welcome Center every Sunday morning before heading to their classrooms.

Men's Bible Study
Studies will begin on September 13th with THREE TIME OPTIONS: 6am, 1:30pm OR 6:30pm. This year, the group will be studying the book of Revelation and will meet in room 205. Please EMAIL Keith K. with any questions.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
The Women's Fall Bible study led by Barb Scheevel begins on Monday, October 9th. This group will meet on Mondays from 6:30 pm- 8 pm in room 205. They will be using a study written by Priscilla Shirer that leads participants through the book of Gideon.
Women's Bible Study will take a break for December.

ADULT FORMATION HOUR

As we move into the advent season, our thematic focus shifts to the presence of God in an isolated world. Due to the success of the small group model this fall, we will continue leveraging the connectivity of small groups around a series entitled "With". Religion offers people particular ways of relating with God, but are we approaching him with the right perspective? To what extent do fear and a desire for control skew our attitude toward God? Join author Skye Jethani in this five-session study as he explores four popular but flawed postures—Life Under God, Over God, From God, and For God—then offers a more freeing and hopeful option for relating with the God who loves us. What does Life With God look like?
